BE Series: Be Just
Over 2,700 years ago, the prophet Micah asked what God requires of us. His answer was surprisingly simple: Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God. In today’s sermon, we explore the first of these calls: Justice.
Sermon Reflections:
- Have you ever asked the question, what is the point of faith? What does God require of me as a believer and disciple?
- How can you actively live out the prophet Micah’s call for justice in your daily life?
- Are there specific instances of injustices or issues mentioned in the sermon, elsewhere in Scripture, or that you see in the world that resonate with you? How can you take meaningful steps to address them?
- In your pursuit of justice, how can you ensure your actions align with biblical teachings, including Micah’s inclusion of kindness and humility alongside justice?
