United Women in Faith present their spring spiritual growth event, “Wisdom in the Chaos,” with the Rev. Corey Milliet, associate pastor of Matthews UMC. In this program, we’ll explore explore how Christians can bring healing to our community and country through faith and love, despite differing viewpoints. With years of experience in pastoral leadership and age-level ministry, Corey is known for her compassionate approach, dynamic teaching style, and ability to connect with people of all ages. Her leadership has helped shape a vibrant and inclusive faith community, and her vision continues to guide the church towards growth and deeper spiritual engagement.

About Rev. Milliet: Corey Milliet is a passionate pastor at Matthews United Methodist Church (UMC), where she has dedicated herself to serving the congregation with a deep commitment to faith, community, and spiritual growth. As the Director of Age-Level Ministries, Corey plays a vital role in nurturing individuals across all life stages, creating engaging and impactful ministry programs that foster spiritual development and connection. With years of experience in pastoral leadership and age-level ministry, Corey is known for her compassionate approach, dynamic teaching style, and ability to connect with people of all ages. Her leadership has helped shape a vibrant and inclusive faith community, and her vision continues to guide the church towards growth and deeper spiritual engagement. Corey holds a Masters of Christian Education with a specialization in Youth Ministries and a Masters of Divinity from Pfeiffer University & Wesley Theological Seminary, and is deeply committed to ongoing learning and development, both as a spiritual leader and in her work with others. She is passionate about guiding people to live out their faith with purpose and intentionality. Beyond her pastoral role, Corey is an inspiring speaker and educator, frequently sharing her insights on spiritual growth, community-building, and the importance of age-level ministries. Her heart for service and her dedication to nurturing faith make her a valued voice in the church community. In addition to her ministry work, Corey loves baking, movies, and hanging out with her family and two dogs (Smokey & Roux).
