Creation Care Study

Start 2025 with an engaging book study! Join a 5 week study on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30pm in Room 32 at church beginning January 22nd and concluding February 19th. Together we will read and discuss the book, Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World by Katharine Hahoe. Katharine is a Canadian atmospheric scientist who suggests we need to find shared values in order to create action. This is not a doomsday narrative about a planet on fire, rather it is a multilayered look at science, faith, and human psychology from an icon in her field. Among many recognitions, Katharine was named one of Fortune’s 50 World’s Greatest Leaders. Register for this engaging book study and consider inviting a friend to join you – all are welcome!

Walk to Emmaus Retreats

Walk to Emmaus is a three-day weekend retreat that aims to strengthen Christ’s presence in your life, to build a fresh understanding of God’s transforming grace and to form friendships that foster your faith.

  • Men’s Retreat March 27-30, 2025
  • Women’s Retreat April 3-6, 2025

A really neat aspect of Emmaus is that everyone is on their own journey with God but the best part is we all journey together. There is someone who has been on this retreat who will be a support and a great person to ask questions to along the way.

You will not need awesome running shoes, Walk to Emmaus is not boot camp or marathon training. You may have heard about it before because the impactful format of the church has been meaningful to others!

“If you’re committed to growing in your faith this year I would highly recommend Walk to Emmaus.” — Laura Campbell

If you’re interested please talk to Kathy Weaver.
