Love Charlotte: St. Stephen’s Mission Day 2024 — Members and friends of St. Stephen United Methodist Church join together to be the literal embodiment of our vision: to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus Christ in our neighborhood and in Charlotte. This annual Missions Day is one of many ways we give back and serve the people of our community.

1. Nourish Up: Sorting/Packing Food
- Sort dry food items, pack boxes to be delivered to families in our community.

2. Nourish Up: Food Deliveries
- Deliver boxes of food and household supplies to families in our community
- Team Leader: Jack Rogers
3. Roof Above: Making Bag Lunches
- Help make 300 bag lunches to deliver to Roof Above for those in need
- Team Leaders: Todd & Melinda Mitchell
4. Deliver Sweet Treats
- Deliver a sweet treat (purchased by church) and card to those who recently lost a loved one and other special friends of the church
- Team Leaders: Roger & Pam Wright
5. Eastway Middle School
- Interior painting
- Team Leader: Susan Johnson
6. Boyce Park Clean Up
- Invasive plant removal and litter pick up
- Team Leader: Margaret Graham
7. McAlpine Hot Dog Lunch
- Serving lunch at St. Stephen for up to 60 senior guests from McAlpine Terrace
- Team Leader: Tammy Lansden
8. Charlotte CROP Walk
- Walk and raise funds for the Charlotte CROP Walk (Sunday, Oct. 6)
- Team Leader: Sandy Carson
9. Raise a Child of the Carolinas
- Wheelchair ramp restoration and building repair, power washing, and painting.
