Christmas at St. Stephen
We welcome you to worship with St. Stephen this Christmas Eve.
Worshiping with younger kids? Check out our interactive, kid-friendly Christmas Eve service at 11am, featuring none other than Olaf of "Frozen" fame!
We'll host a more traditional, candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7:30pm, both in-person and livestreamed online.
At 11pm, we'll host a traditional, candlelight service with Holy Communion.
We can't wait to see you!
New to St. Stephen?
You are welcome here! St. Stephen is an authentic and humble community of followers of Jesus Christ. We are a serving, giving, and action-oriented family of believers, called to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus Christ β in our neighborhood, in Charlotte, and in the world. Learn more about us and get directions to the church. We can't wait to see you!
Christmas Eve Offering
Each year we receive a special Christmas Eve offering β not for us here at St. Stephen but for ministries that strive to also bring light and hope into the lives of others.
2023 Beneficiaries
This year one hundred percent of your offering will go to:
Eastway Middle School, and their initiative to fund soccer uniforms and purchase tablets for students
Center of Hope and Booth Commons, two local shelters serving women, children, families, and veterans
You donβt have to wait until Christmas Eve to give. You can give now by donating online (be sure to choose “Christmas Eve Offering” in the dropdown menu) or donating by check; make checks payable to St. Stephen UMC and include Christmas Eve Offering in the memo line. Checks may be placed in offering plates or brought or mailed to the church.
We hope you will make plans to give generously to this special offering.
